Reviews of primary schools that I have been visiting mostly in North East London but some other areas too. Will continue as I widen my search to find the best 7+ school. Personal and totally honest and subjective opinions by a mum trying to make up her mind about which school to send her child to. This blog is a work in progress. I'm transcribing my comments gradually from my notes as I don't have that much time to put everything up at once.

Canonbury School

 Canonbury        11-Nov-09        432    30    60    French and french after school club        yes, lots of projects with Cubitt    On special measures as of end of 2009. Keep track as it may rapidly improve.     1400 furthest last yr (131 Englefield is 1290 in distance so would have got in)     French amongst others    a bit run down but feels homely. PE in top floor assembly hall, a bit chaotic    no (I think)            kids that showed us around mentioned Dame Alice owen, Latymer, Camden Girls School, Mary Magdalene
